You know those friends in your life that are just bomb? The ones that are go getters? The ones that love big. Well that's Vivian Smith. So you can imagine when she asked me to design her wedding it was a no brainer YES. I loved every minute of working with Vivian and Weston. I was so happy to be able to bring her wedding dreams to life.
In a world full of trending blushes and gold it was so refreshing to work with a deep, rich color palette. I'm dying just looking at these images. The colors all turned out so beautifully. The venue was already top notch so I had great bones to work with.
For simple decor we added touches of nature. From the outside greenery and draping moss to a full on moss wall this wedding was rich in color (and love!). To bring the outside in we hung some simple and elegant floral chandeliers. Let me tell you, they made all the difference. To add some subtle texture we hung a white DIY 'curtain'. It's that beautiful soft glow in the background of the dancing images.
The table arrangements! A dream. Viv had a clear vision for what she wanted and my amazing husband literally built it to life. We were so happy with the design.
Finally are the amazing flowers! Gosh I love working with florals so much. I was able to use some STUNNING flowers for her bouquets too. Specifically I used blush and plumb ranunculus. These are peonies beautiful (and cheap) cousins. I also threw in some rice flower, dusty miller, and eucalyptus to round it all out.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Smith! I love you both dearly. It was a honor to be a part of your day!
