So I love planning parties. Creating atmospheres of joy and celebration is one of my most favorite things. I love doing that for anyone but combine it with doing it for my sister/best friend and things get crazy.
Seriously this is one of the best things I've been blessed to do.
So my beautiful sister is getting married in May and as the MOH (heck yea I am!) I get to plan all of these fun things for her and her friends. That includes her bridal shower! When I was planning it all I tried to think of all her favorite things. What vibes does she like? What's her favorite foods? What would make her feel in her sweet spot...and this is what I came up with! A sweet shower in the most beautiful of lofts. So check it out!
I kinda lost my mind when I saw that my favorite blogger DesignLoveFest and Cheeky Home were joining forces to create AMAZING plates and cups for Target so ,of course, I bought all that I could for this party! They just went so well with the overall vibe.
We (as in me, my boyfriend, my sister, her fiance, our friends Ray, Emily, and Rachel and anyone else who dared to enter our house) did craft a couple cool pieces for the party. The first one is those awesome geometric shapes dripping in florals. I'm kind of obsessed with them so yea. They were super easy. Dowel rods and fake florals from Joann's (they always have coupons). The other thing we made is the dreamy backdrop (that the beautiful couple is photographed in). IT TOOK FOREVER. Shout out to everyone that helped. Good news is it was super cheap (like 10 bucks!). It's as easy as hot glue, wax paper, fishing line, and few finger burns here and there.
I so hope you love and are inspired by this beautiful shower!
